1. Prophase

-Formation of spindle fibres that connect centriolesand centromers.of each sister chromatids.
2. Metaphase
-Disappearance of nuclear membrane .-All the chromosome are aligned randomly at the equantorial plate.
3. Anaphase
- Separation of two sister chromatids at the centromere
- Moving of each sister chromatids to the opposite spindle poles .
- The separated chromatids are referred to as daughter chromosomes.
4. Telophase
-
- Break down of spindle fibres
-Thining and extending of chromosomes
-Cytokinesis follows after this phase
